NEW ORLEANS - More than 1,330 new first-year students entered Tulane University for the fall semester, a 51 percent increase over last year's class, the university said.

The number exceeds the school's recruiting goal of enrolling 1,200 new freshmen.

Tulane also enrolled its largest transfer class: 210 new undergraduate students.

I'm glad to see Hollywood South is booming. The other day, they shot a part of a movie in my dad's office. The new show K-ville on Fox helps to boost hollywood south too. IT's drawing stars to the city, as well as pumping in money. The stars in turn help the city, like Brangelina moving to the Big Easy, that was a great bunch of press, and would not have happened if Benjamin Button hadn't been filmed in New Orleans, while pumping $100 million into the economy.
